Kun Pavilion was built in 2012, with a height of 17.1 meters and a two-story brick wood structure. The pavilion is 10.7 meters long and 10.7 meters wide. Its plane layout is square on four sides, corresponding to the eight sided Qian Tower, implying that “Taiji generates two complementary forces, Two complementary forces generate four aggregates, Four aggregates generate eight trigrams, Eight trigrams determine myriads of phenomena.” Kun Pavilion is located in the riverside highland, which is another viewing platform for overlooking the "s" shaped Qiankunwan. There is a 880 meter long pedestrian landscape trail connected with the Qian tower.
