Guandi temple is located at the highest point in the center of laoniuwan fort, was founded in the 10th year of Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty (A.D.1676) and rebuilt in the 7th year of Yongzheng reign. The temple faces south, with the main hall, side hall and Mountain Gate stage. The main hall is three columns wide with gabbled roof, in it there are statues of Guan Yu and murals such as Be Sworn Brothers and Riding Alone for Thousands Miles. Behind the main hall is an irregular courtyard, there are two rows of caves facing the south, each row with four caves.
